Paul graduated from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, with an honours degree in Law and a master’s degree in International Business Law. He subsequently completed a Ph.D in Law. 

Paul is a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Will Writers,

Paul sat on the panel of experts for the Legal Services Board, moderating Wills as part of the investigation into the regulation of Wills and estate administration. Paul is also an Affiliate member of STEP – The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, whose members are widely regarded as the most qualified specialists in Wills and trusts.

Currently, Paul is a student member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

He contributed frequently to Moneywise magazine, answering readers’ questions on a variety of topics.
